I have a guilty little pleasure that I indulge in every night when I drive to work – Richard Mercer’s “Love Song Dedications” on Mix. The few weeks he was off the air over the holidays, I station flicked or popped a CD in my car. For the 40 minutes I’m in the car driving to work, I’m in a happy place, listening to his deep, soothing voice and endless love songs. Yes I know I’m a big old sap.

DeleteFunny story... Rick Price had a thing for my Mum waaaaay back when! As a teenager she used to visit with a friend in Beaudesert, QLD and they'd go out bike riding in the paddocks with Rick and his friends.

ReplyDeleteMy mum and I both loved Michael Bolton. When she told me she had never been to a concert, I got her with tickets for her birthday to his concert in Melbourne.
